Bill Morris

Bill Morris - is county executive and commercial lender for Mountain
1st Bank in Rutherford County. A native of Albemarle, he and his wife
Nan have lived in Rutherfordton since 1995. They have one daughter,
Kathryn, a junior at UNC-Chapel Hill.

Bill attended Wofford College and the N.C. State Bankers Association
School in Chapel Hill.
Prior to Rutherford County, Bill spent 19 years with another bank and
worked in Guilford, Granville and Perquimans Counties.

He is a member of First United Methodist Church of Rutherfordton, where
he is chairing the finance committee and will also serve as president of
the Rutherfordton Kiwanis in 2009.
