Curtis Vance

Systems Administrator, Isothermal Community College

Married with 2 grown children. Born and raised in Spruce Pine, NC. I received a BS degree in Computer Science and Applied Mathematics from ASU in 1984. I received a MA in Community College Administration from WCU in 1994. I've worked for Isothermal CC since 1986 as a Systems Analyst. Before that I was a Systems Analyst for Randolph CC in Asheboro, NC. Before that I was a Systems Analyst for TRW in Boone, NC. I completed the NC Community College Leadership Program in 2006. I also received the Golden Apple award in 2006. I've served the NC Community College System on the Semester Conversion Committee, also on the Administrative Systems Committee, also on the Course Management Systems committee and I'm currently serving on the Networks Upgrade committee.
